Transportation

We have booked Tommy Transit (operator of the Hummingbird Pub bus) to meet the morning ferry from Swartz Bay and bring guests to the community hall. In the evening he will return guests from the hall back to make the 9pm ferry to Swartz Bay.

There is no need to take a car on the ferry.

The BC ferry can be taken from either Swartz bay or Tsawwassen.

The ferry schedule changes in the summer, and is different every day of the week!
The following are only accurate for Saturday July 15th!

To Galiano From Swartz bay:
5:40 to 6:45am (wow, early)
10:30am arrives in Sturdies Bay at 12:00, with one stop in Village Bay (Mayne Island). Take this to catch the bus to the hall!

To Galiano From From Tsawwassen:
10:50am arrives 11:40am

Ferries home:
To Swartz Bay:
4:10pm to 6:25pm via Lyall Harbour on Saturna. (leaving the party very early, before dinner. No bus)
9:05pm to 10:15pm direct. The bus from the hall will take you to this ferry.
To Tsawwassen:
5:15pm to 6:10pm. (leaving the party early)
9:30pm to 10:20pm. Catch the bus taking people to the 9pm ferry.
